About Simon Lockhart

Lockhart Network Consultancy Ltd is led by Simon Lockhart, a UK network architect and engineer with more than two decades of experience designing, building and operating ISP and fibre networks. Simon has worked across alt‑nets, national service providers and infrastructure programmes, helping organisations design networks that are not only technically sound but also practical to build and operate.

Alongside consultancy work, Simon remains an active hands‑on engineer. His background includes fibre access deployment, IP/MPLS core architecture, operational troubleshooting, and integration of OSS/BSS platforms used to run real networks. This combination of strategic architecture and practical engineering experience allows projects to move from concept to operational service with fewer surprises.
